We were approached by Laux Studio to create a brand identity and website for his newly developed ceramics practice in 2018. His artistic philosophy is centered on organic imperfections, which reflects the natural feel of his everyday-use tableware. The brand identity we created for him replicates this aesthetic through the use of earth tones, rudimentary shapes, and breezy type choices.
Plant life, shadows, and artistic angles helped us compose thoughtful images to integrate into the website we built. The website in itself is a simple, single-scroll page that parallels the simplicity, visual beauty, and handmade qualities found in work of Laux Studio.
