Collin Garrity designs and produces beautiful wooden objects. His pieces are minimal in nature, highly functional and crafted with an immense amount of care. Collin came to us to create a Kickstarter video for his Everyday Folding Table. By the end of his campaign, Collin had two videos, new branding images and a redesigned website.
We refreshed Collin’s site, utilizing Squarespace as our platform. Collin was already familiar with Squarespace, which allowed him to have the ability to update his site, such as changing featured products and uploading new products to his online shop. In this way, our web design served as a clean, modern template from him to work from in the future.
Two videos were created for Collin: one for his brand and one for his Kickstarter campaign. We collaborated with Sean Funcik Studio to produce these two videos. It was essential to show off the functionality of his Everyday Folding Table and create an atmosphere around his work of user-friendliness and modernity to help viewers identify with his brand.
The photographs of Collin’s recent collection were guided by the different ways people could interact with his products. We carefully stylized the images by choosing multiple locations, props and models that would convey the organic, special quality of his work. Because of these very deliberate choices, our photographs were featured on a plethora of design blogs.
Collin’s original Kickstarter goal was $18,000. After 24 hours, his goal was 43% funded. By day 7, we made that goal a reality for him. After the 43 days, he raised $45,980.
